24th of July, Brian head and other happenings in the Rogers household

We had a great 24th of July. We headed to my grandma Rohdes lawn around 8:45 and the girls got a ton of candy. Me and Rikki made these really cute skirts for our girls, I think they turned out even better than we imagined. They really looked so cute. After the parade we headed home and relaxed for the races. I have to say the races were a little crazy this year. I did not even have time to take pictures of the girls because the announcer was talking and going to fast. In Bentlee race he said go before moms where even behind the line. There was a mom right in front of Bentlee so of course I did not get a picture. After the races me Bentlee, Tatum and Darbye headed to Cedar so I could get some groceries for our Brian Head trip. We got to Brian head about six thirty and went swimming. Brian Head was so much fun we played games, did crafts and pretty much just got to sit around and relax. It really was just what I needed. The only complaint I had was the bed holy Crapoly it was like sleeping on a box. I don't think the matress had been changed since the 1960's. This usually would not be a problem, but being 33 weeks pregnant waking up in the mornings was not the most pleasant thing. It took me about twenty minutes to get out of bed and for everything on me that seems to dislocate in my sleep to pop back in to place. But seriously a four day trip and that was my worst complaint. (I can totally handle that lack of sleep is something you just get use to when you are a mom right.:) The girls loved Brian Head I think they had a blast and that really is the only reason I went. They had a treasure Hunt, and Scavenger Hunt, we tried glow in the dark bubbles and the swam a lot. They really did no want to leave, and to be honest I really didn't either it was nice to be in a place where they could just run around get dirty and have the time of their lives without worrying about someone stealing or running them over. Trips like this make me really sad that my kids don't get the opportunity to grow up on a farm like I did and really have the freedom to do pretty much whatever you want. I went to the doctor last week and really thought he would check me, but I guess I am measuring a little small so they moved my due date ten days (I haven't even told my husband this because I don't believe it hehe I know exactly when I got pregnant so I am going off of that and not my measurements, for some reason me and Jamie have pretty small/average size babies) . This news was just a little frustrating for me, but I am so thankful to be pregnant and that so far this little girl seems healthy and happy so I am willing to be pregnant for a few more weeks if that is what it takes...but I don't think it will. So I guess I am not officially due until September 19. I am really hoping I can do some mental stimulation and tell my body to go into labor around August 31st. I would be 37 1/2 weeks by then. My sister Rikki was able to do that and it worked if only I was that lucky.
