Mammoth Camping Trip 2011

Well it has been such a long time since I have posted. I have been so busy with summer school and everything else that has been going on. (And really I just decided to get off my behind and do a post). My whole family besides my hubby (because he never can do anything in the summer being a fire fighter) whent up to Cedar Mountain to a camp ground called mammoth. It is a yearly tradition that I love so much. The first night we were there we got poured on, by the morning my air mattress was floating on about an inch of water. All our bedding and clothes were soaked but the funniest thing is it was my best night of sleep. I didn't even realize we were all wet until the morning. The worst part about the rain was the rest of the trip all our stuff was pretty soggy. The second day up there it rained off and on, but it made it really nice. It stayed nice and cool until the fourth day when we were packing up and going home. My girls had a blast and I really think they could live in the mountains and never come home. It was nice to see them just be able to run free and get dirty and not worry about someone stealing them or them getting ran over. My most favorite part was me, Rikki, Darbye and my mom went mud bogging on the four wheelers. We were covered in mud so we decided to get off and me and my mom threw Rikki and Darbye into a giant mud puddle they of course threw us in and we were covered from head to toe in mud. It was so much fun except the clean up part. There was a local fire station near by so we drove up there because they had a house when we got there the old volunteer fire fighters were still there. My mom went to drive away because she didn't want them to see her. I was not about to leave I was not going to rinse off in the below zero river. So I walked in and gave one of the little old guys a heart attack it was pretty funny. They got the pressure washer out and got a real kick out of us four girls spraying each other off with a hose and freezing to death. Well enough ramble here are a few pictures my mom took that I just love.

My Baby is 2

Oh my goodness this was a very bitter sweet day for me. I've decided that birthdays are really hard when it is your baby. My sweet little TaTum turned two on February 22nd. She had a Yo Gabba Gabba themed party. We had Grandma and Grandpa Rogers and my whole family here for some amazing Japanese food. We had Curry, egg rolls, Gioza and rice. It turned out super nice and TaTum loved every second of it. She was so cute when she opened her presents she took the time to look at each one and she would exclaim, "Oh I love it, thanks!" It was so sweet and she made her grandparents day with her happiness. A few things about Tatum. She is still pretty small for her size she is about half as tall as Bentlee, but she makes up for her small stature with a major attitude. I really thought for about a year and half of her life that she would be my more relaxed easy going kid. Boy was I wrong she has more attitude than any little kid I have ever seen. She loves getting into everything. She is finally starting to talk a lot. She went from not saying a lot to talking ever second. She loves blaming things on her sister. It is really kind of funny because she will have a poopy diaper and if you say Tatum did you poop she will say no Bentlee did. Everything is Bentlee did it. Any time you talk to her she will tell you the same story about how our cat poop scratched her ear about six months ago. It makes everyone laugh because she will say, "Poo Poo scratched my ear." She loves when she has one on one time with me and Jamie. She has started staying up later than Bentlee just so she can be with us without her older sister around. She is still a complete mommas girl I am totally fine with that. I love that both my girls love me more than anyone else. I know that is pretty selfish considering it makes daddy feel bad sometimes, but all well this is one thing I am happy to be selfish with. Well we love you little TATER TOT you are so special.

Christmas 2010

We had an amazing Christmas. I am really lucky because I get to spend every Christmas with my amazing parents. I love them so much and they always go out of their way to make Christmas so very special. This year was especially fun because both my girls are big enough know that they get super excited. They were both up super late and up super early ready to go see what Santa brought them. Are whole family was here on Christmas morning besides Rikki and Carson's family. So we were pretty packed and this next year everyone will be there. After this last year my parents are going to add on this summer so there will be some much needed extra room. Even though I love us all being so close it doesn't bother me one bit. I just think I have the best family in the whole world and I love them all so much.

Can you tell that this was one excited little girl..

Daddy getting up at six thirty in the morning. Not very happy...

I love this picture of TaTum with her uncle Slade. They were both a little tired..

The early risers that woke us all up at six in the morning. I think Bentlee looks the most rested.

A few of the presents on Christmas Eve!! This is before Santa came to visit and me and Portia brought our presents in. You can kinda see that space is limited... HAHA

TaTum loved that candy in her stocking. She has such a little sweet tooth...

Bentlee had this cheesy grin all morning until about ten. And then she was so ready for a nap..

Already fighting over stuff.. I think this will be the story of our lives until they are married.

Rye, Knox and Holden... I dont think they were ready to be up yet... But no worries Holden was wide awake when we got downstairs and he say his awesome train set. Poor Rye had to work super late the night before and drive all the way from Nevada just in time to get like two hours of sleep and then get up the next day and go back to work. What a great dad to do all that for those cute little boys..

Little Jackson was so cute.. He played with the girls kitchen set for days. He would sit there and stir and stir and then stick his fake food in the oven. It was adorable..

Tatums first time seeing her shopping carts... She was so excited!!

The girls food and kitchen set...

Another excited picture..

Another cute picture of little Jackson. This is Jacks little boy if you were all wondering.. He is adorable and so sweet.

Sorry for the major picture overload I had so many. I could of uploaded about twenty more that I thought were cute. But this will do..

I have a three year Old!!!

My sweet little Bentlee turned three on November 15th. Here I am once again playing some major catch up. She had a great party and she was so excited. She got a rainbow cake, a tag with a bunch of books, her mitten fluff n' stuff lala loopsy and a bunch of cute new clothes. She was one spoiled girl. I can't believe I have a little three year old. Some fun facts about Bentlee.. She is a total no it all she knows everything. She is super sweet and has a very tender heart. She feels bad and likes to tell me I don't love her whenever she is in trouble. She is a great big sister and always makes sure Tatum is staying out of trouble. My most favorite thing she does right now is she always gives kisses to me and her dad. She is super affectionate and I love that and enjoy every second of it because I know she will grow out of that fast. WE love you sweetheart and enjoy every second we have with you.
